things of note on monday

As the title of this post implies, creativity usually doesn’t bother entertaining me on Mondays until after the 2nd cup of coffee.  However, there are a few things worth mentioning on this somber Monday morning.

I somehow totally forgot to mention this earlier, but my poem “Your Failure to Croak and Wither” has been accepted by Fat Gold Watch Press for their Sylvia Plath anthology.  Edited by Christine Hamm, one of my favorite online poets, I am quite stoked.  Incidentally, you can also read this poem in A Mouth for Picket Fences.

Also, if you’d like something quick and abstract to read this morning, you can now read my poem “Sleepmaps” over at A Cappella Zoo.

Now, let me go get that 2nd cup of coffee…
